WHAT’S A LIMITED EDITION?
A limited edition is a limited run of artwork that is numbered and signed by the artist. Bootsy signs and numbers all limited-edition photographs en verso, meaning on the back, and they come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity card if requested.
DO THE COLORS/TONES OF THE ACTUAL PRINTS LOOK LIKE THE IMAGES WE SEE ONLINE?
We have made every effort to ensure fidelity between the images you see on our site and the final photographs. However, since the colors you see depend on your computer monitor settings, we cannot guarantee they are 100% accurate. We think they look better in person. Screens can make colors appear darker or more intense. Prints are often on matte paper, which gives a much different feel and look in person. If you need a small color proof for matching, please get in touch with Bootsy, and she will send a color test strip. Or ask for a studio visit.
HOW DO YOU SHIP THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Small photographs are carefully packaged between double corrugated board and shipped in a sturdy flat cardboard mailer. Larger photographs that don't come in a tube can be floated in a foam-core portfolio, and the box is lined with a double layer of corrugated board, shipped inside a sturdy box. Framed photographs are shipped and packed with a 2-inch foam box via FedEx Ground. For shipping prices on framed work I will make an estimate for you. Each piece is shipped as a fragile work of art and will arrive well-packaged. I ship art all the time, all over the US.
WHAT IF MY PRINT ARRIVES DAMAGED?
If the image area of your photograph arrives with shipping damage or has a flaw, please email me as soon as possible or within 15 days of delivery, along with a few quick photos of the damaged area. Please note: The image area of your photograph refers to the space within the white border. We ship by floating the larger prints on a border that is larger than the image and the paper, or in a tube. The package is rigid and well-packed for secure transit, so it should arrive with its corners and edges in good shape. Your images come with a white border, and as long as the image itself is not damaged, the framer can trim back to the standard 1/4 or mat over the blemish. Most of all, don't hesitate to get in touch with me so we can determine the best course of action to take.
