Leica Gallery, London, in collaboration with Virginia Damtsa, is pleased to present American artist Bootsy Holler, who photographed the Seattle music scene from Grunge into Indie.
The works on display are from Holler's soon-to-be-published book Making It: An Intimate Documentary of Seattle's Indie, Rock & Punk Scene, 1992-2008.
Blending intimacy with iconic rock images, Holler’s portraits and live photos depict musicians and bands, many on the cusp of fame, such as Beth Ditto of Gossip, Macklemore, Modest Mouse, Reggie Watts, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, along with Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Dave Grohl, Interpol, Moby, The Posies, R.E.M. and more.
